Does Education determine our Values? Or does our values determine the quality of our education? Maybe a better question is: What do you want to guide you? What someone else tells you? Or what you decide to be?
Long before we ever make a critical choice or hear compelling arguments about life and culture, we make conscious decisions about who we are and what we want to be. The more confident and enduring we are in those decisions will lead to time, resources, experiences and people adding to those decisions. Not the other way around.
“If you live by the affections of man, then you will die by their criticisms.” Our convictions make us believable not what we “know”.
