About Chad M. Mansbridge

Chad M. Mansbridge is a pastor, author, conference speaker and one of Australia's most dynamic Bible teachers—known for his ability to communicate profound and complex truth with clarity, simplicity and a whole lot of fun!

At just 23yrs of age, Chad and his wife (Jaye) planted and pioneered Bayside Church International; a thriving local church located in Victor Harbor, on the south coast of South Australia, where they are currently serving their twentieth year of pastoral ministry.

Chad’s latest book—You Can Handle the Truth—deals with the complex concern of how Christians should read, understand, and apply the Scriptures. Its conversational tone, innovative layout and original artwork makes it a standout in the hermeneutics space, with the goal of making the intimidating task of biblical interpretation as approachable as possible for the everyday believer. Endorsements for this project testify to its broad Christian appeal—with praise from Pentecostals and Presbyterians, professors and pastors, teen bloggers and bestselling authors, college presidents, prominent publishers, and even Bible translators—the book has recently been declared the GOLD Medallion winner in the Bible Study category for the 2022 Illumination Book Awards.

A loveable Aussie larrikin, with an infectious love for life, Chad is regularly invited to speak at schools, churches and conferences throughout Australia and Overseas, carrying an unshakable desire to see people walk in an authentic and unhindered relationship with their Maker.

Quotes

“You're forged by doing something. You're forged by actually taking responsibility. And if you find yourself passionate about something, just do it…it's a whole lot easier to steer a moving vessel. If it's sitting still, it's very hard to change the direction of that thing, once it's moving. Just get doing something.”

“There's been a such an emphasis on safety. Be safe. Be safe. Be safe. Like, we're worshiping at the alter of safety. I actually wonder now with younger guys, this generation whether they're told so much to be safe. ‘Be careful.’ ‘Watch out for burnout.’ ‘Don't overexert yourself’. Whether we're actually minimizing the potential of men who may actually need the opposite. They may need the strength to say, you've got it. You've got what it takes. Keep going.”

Takeaway Questions from the interview

  1. What big moments in your life do you need to pay more attention to?

  2. What could you take action with today?

  3. How have you chosen safety over action in the last year?
